Black Friday TIPS!!!

Tips to have a successful Black Friday shopping experience

Make a list of all the things you are planning to buy including:

Christmas presents

Clothing

Shoes

Kitchenware or appliances needed at home

Electronics, etc.

Check the stores ads and look for the items on your list

Buy gift cards of the stores you are planning to shop at. Kroger if offering four times the gift card value in gas points, JC Penney will give you a $25 off $25 purchase coupon when you buy $100 worth of gift cards, Target has a 10% gift cards, so check the store ads for this additional incentives

Once you have your list and decide on the items you are planning to get, try to go to the store before the sale, try on shoes and clothing, this way you will spend less time in ea store ( the shoe department gets very busy and the fitting room are almost impossible to use)

Make a list of the order in which you will be doing your shopping, based on your list, the best sales or incentives being offered

Dress according to the weather, bring comfortable shoes, try to avoid bulky jackets (while the weather could be very cold outside, the stores are overcrowded and it will be hot inside. Preferably use a cross-body bag, that way you can keep it tight with you at all times, especially when grabbing high ticket items.

Don't forget to bring your stores ads to use as a reference along with any applicable discount, coupons or gift cards

Assign a spot to put your keys that way you don't have to empty your bag to find them. Every parking lot has a letter (section) with a number (aisle number), if you tend to lose your car make sure you take a pic of the sign closer to you ( this can be found on all the light posts)

At the store, locate the items on your list and if you are shopping with friends or family have somebody start the checkout line, have all gift cards and applicable coupons before you get to the register, this will help you have a smooth check out

When living the store make sure you are aware of your surrounding if something doesn't look right go back to the store and have a security escort you to your car, when sopping multiple stores make sure you don't leave visible packages. If you don't have tinted windows bring a black blanket, cloth or plastic to cover your purchases, at night it will disguise them and looked like your car is empty, be very patient and let the impatient drivers go first there is no reason to get injured just to try to get by first!

And last but not least enjoy, I have been Black Friday Shopping for the last 12 yrs and I always have fun and throughout the years I've learned all this tips that help me enjoy it and I hope they will now help you too!
